Silk Museum by Rosie North

I was inspired by the intricacy of the looms in Paradise Mill and the view of the hills from the windows in the Mill. Each silk fabric has its own property and energy which I am conveying in this work

WEAVING DREAMS.

The action of weaving is so peaceful allowing the textiles to dictate their own place within the work, the silk moth hovering over the work, having just emerged from her surrounding cocoon.
